LEVEL 2: Systemic Repair
Level 2. Focuses on Dysfunction of the digestive system and related organs. This course is in webinar format
Rather than looking at where the pain presents as we did in Level 1, we teach you how to look at underlying causes of pain and inflammation stemming from the digestive, lymphatic, and visceral systems.
Chronic pain starts to involve these systems if untreated. The emotional system begins to get involved with chronic pain too, and manifests in the enteric nervous system causing organ and digestive dysfunction.
Students will learn how to palpate gut dysfunction and inflammation in the digestive and lymphatic systems. The viscero-somatic reflexes are studied and how they present as pain.
Facial and tongue recognition patterns will also be discussed and become part of your evaluation process.
Specific protocols related to the GI and lymphatic systems will be given
for pain presentations in Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Acid Reflux and Lymphedema to name a few.
By the end of the course students will understand that some types of joint and muscle pain actually emanate from the digestive and lymphatic systems. How to assess and treat these systems with specific patch protocols for faster recovery.
We will examine the following conditions:
- Chronic constipation/diarrhea
- Abdominal pain
- Sleep problems
- Brain fog
