MICHAEL RAND

MICHAEL RAND

Instructor Mentor

Mick has one goal and that’s to make the world a better place before he leaves it. For him, that means helping as many people as he can get out of pain and move toward a better life through health and fitness. He uses remedial massage treatments, strength and basic movement along with Quanta treatments to bring people to where they need to be. Personally, he loves the Ironman Triathlon.  It is the perfect mix of physical preparedness and mental toughness. Mick likes to be called Grange as he too gets better with age.

Mick’s background is extensive. It includes personal training, strength and conditioning, spin instruction, remedial and orthopedic massage, myofascial dry needling, and much more.

MAX SHEPHARD

MAX SHEPHARD

Instructor Mentor

Max bases his work on his personal experience with a rugby induced meniscus injury during his childhood. His rapid recovery showed him that, given the right methods, the human body is resilient. Like the rest of the Quanta Therapies team, Max grounds his work in science. After graduating from Edgehill University, he worked with athletes at a musculoskeletal clinic in London.

His methods have evolved over time with the understanding that rehabilitation is challenging and people need to be willing to be creative with their approaches. Everything in our lives is interconnected and everything affects our health. His focus is on synchronizing all aspects of people’s lives to help them overcome a range of issues from sports performance to autoimmune issues.
